The Big Piney Library

Mon. — Thurs. 10 am - 8 pm    Fri. 10 am - 6 pm & Sat. 10 am - 5 pm   

The Pinedale Library's Lovatt Room accommodates up to 195 people. It is located in the library's new addition and offers a large space with a warm, rustic setting. Featuring natural rammed earth walls and striking beams, this room can hold a variety of table and chair arrangements and is ideal for large parties, events and meetings. Tables and chairs are included in the rental of the room. Projection equipment hangs from the above beams. A labyrinth pattern built into the floor provides visual interest. Restrooms are located outside the room's entrance.

There is a charge for some uses of the Pinedale Library Lovatt Room. Fees are required for private events, conferences, banquets/catered dinners, business use, and fundraisers, even for nonprofits and government agencies. There is a $250 additional cleaning fee for Sunday reservations. All Board Room, and Study Booth uses are free.

Multiday/consecutive reservations also typically require room fees.

Fees are as follows:

$10/hour
24 hours for $300
48 hours for $400
72 hours for $500
Sunday reservations: Additional $250 cleaning fee

Use of the room after 10 pm requires payment of the 24, 48, or 72-hour fee.

Our general rule is two reservations/month/group but exceptions are made for hosted conferences/workshops.

The Board Room

The Pinedale Library's Board Room allows accommodations for up to 14 people. It is located in the library's new addition and is available for adult gatherings only. One wall features cork board for display of visual items. A flat screen monitor is also available. The table features pockets to tuck away electrical cords. It is ideal for meetings and small events. Restrooms are located outside the room's entrance. All uses of the Board Room are free.


The Western Americana Room

The Pinedale Library's Study Booth a stand-alone encapsulated room serving as a private, WiFi-enabled meeting space for up to 4 people. It features a table with seating, outlets, USB ports, and wireless charging for your devices. It also features soundproofing with up to 27 decibels of noise reduction and quiet ventilation— silent fans in the roof and air inlets behind the seats keep the air inside fresh at all times. The Study Booth is perfect for:

• Private telemedicine appointments
• Online job interviews
• Signing of contracts or test-taking
• Private in-person conversations
• Isolated study or remote work space

Located in the main library's back corner near the couch and periodicals area, the Study Booth may be used by adults age 18 and up. You may bring your own laptop for internet conferencing or we can provide one for you. You must have your own conferencing software such as Zoom, Webex, Microsoft Teams, Skype, etc. All uses of the Study Booth are free.


The Community Room

Located in the Big Piney Library, the Community Room can hold a variety of table and chair arrangements for parties, events and larger meetings for a maximum of 49 people. Tables and chairs are included in the rental of the room. Restrooms are located outside the room's entrance.

There is a charge for some uses of the Big Piney Library Community Room. Fees are required for private events, conferences, banquets/catered dinners, business use, and fundraisers, even for nonprofits and government agencies.

Located in the Big Piney Library. the Board Room features a large table with 8 chairs. Restrooms are located outside the room's entrance. Use of this room is free. The Big Piney Library Board Room

Located in the Big Piney Library, the Study Rooms feature a table with 4 chairs, perfect for small, private meetings or study sessions. These rooms are available on a first come, first serve basis. Reserve a Pinedale Library Meeting Room

You may request a Pinedale Library meeting room online through LocalHop. Chose your room and time slot and you will receive a confirmation email when your reservation has been approved. (If you do not receive a confirmation email, you do not have a reservation.) You will be contacted by library staff if your reservation requires fees. See below for room use fees.

Sunday reservations:
Please call the library to discuss Sunday room use: (307) 367-4114. Sunday reservations will be accepted on a case by case basis. A $250 cleaning fee applies to Sunday reservations in addition to any reservation fee.

Meeting Room Use Policies

The meeting rooms in the Sublette County Libraries provide space for library sponsored and co-sponsored programs and for other meetings and programs of an informational, educational, cultural, recreational, or civic nature. Library sponsored activities are given priority in scheduling the use of the rooms. Use of any of the meeting rooms does not constitute an endorsement of the views of the users of the rooms by the library. The Sublette County Libraries will make the meeting rooms in the library available to all citizens with the understanding that they meet our policies.
