Library cards are free to county residents. The applicant must be able to show a local postal mailing address. Stop into the library and fill out an application. Your card will be issued and your account will become active at that time.

Children are issued library application forms when they enter the first grade. These forms must be signed by a parent or guardian before children can check out library materials. Cards are not actually given to children until they enter high school. Children under the age of 18 are required to have parental permission to check out adult music and book CDs, books-on-tape and R-rated movies.

There is a $2.00 replacement fee for lost cards.

With a library card, you will be able to borrow print, audio, and video materials from any Wyoming library*, access many online databases and services through our website, place a hold on items and manage your library account at any time.

* You may borrow from other libraries through our interlibrary loan (ILL) service (special fees may apply, go here to view details). You may also use your card while traveling throughout the state to borrow items from other Wyoming libraries; we ask that you return the borrowed items to their proper libraries.
