A Smithsonian Exhibit
coming to the Sublette County Library
September 22—November 10, 2007

This year, the Sublette County Library, in partnership with Museum on Main Street and the Wyoming Humanities Council, will be presenting “Between Fences”, a traveling Smithsonian exhibition that explores the significance of fences and boundaries in American culture. As part of the many events that will be presented around the County in support of the exhibit, the Sublette County Library will be hosting a Fence Art project to create a one of a kind piece of community art in our County.

About the Fence Post Art Show

Sublette County residents painted, decorated, did whatever arty thing they could think of to homemade fence posts. Later this summer they will be put with others to create a uniquely Pinedale work of art. Prizes will be awarded for creative entries. Here are some examples of the fence posts contributed.
